Teacher charged with child enticement
EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. -- A substitute teacher at a Massachusetts school has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with one of his teenage students.
Police say David Anderson, 28, of Sturbridge, who taught at Quaboag Regional Middle High School in Warren, is charged with enticing a child under the age of 16.
He allegedly kissed the 15-year-old girl, took her out for sushi and talked of going on vacation together.
The Telegram & Gazette of Worcester reports that Anderson was released on personal recognizance after being told to have no contact with the girl at his arraignment.
He has resigned from his job.
Two of the student's friends alerted school authorities to the alleged relationship.
