QUINCY, Mass. -- Authorities identified the woman whose body was found smoldering in the Blue Hills Reservation last Saturday.

"At 2 p.m., the Medical Examiner's Office was able to positively identify Kristyn L. Genereux, of Plymouth, Mass., born June 2, 1967," said Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating.

Genereux was a mother of four.

Her remains were found by a hiker at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, in a portion of the Reservation physically in Quincy but mainly accessible from Route 28 in Milton.

"It has not been established whether she died in the Blue Hills, so potential callers should not limit themselves because they were aware of her activities elsewhere," said Keating.

Officials are investigating the "suspicious death."
