Man sells drugs from city vehicle
WOBURN, Mass. -- A Cambridge Water Department worker has been sentenced to up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to dealing drugs out of a city-owned truck.
Kevin Cosgrove, 60, was sentenced Monday in Middlesex Superior Court to five to seven years behind bars and five years of probation after pleading guilty to selling oxycodone and cocaine.
Cosgrove, of Waltham, was one of three water department employees charged after investigation that started with a citizen's tip in November 2007.
Another defendant, Russell Feroleto, 47, was sentenced to seven to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty on June 10.
Prosecutors dropped charges against the third man, Kevin Horan, on Monday because he cooperated with investigators.
Cosgrove's attorney did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.
