Pittsfield man dies in motorcycle crash
RICHMOND, Mass. -- State police say a Pittsfield man has died in a motorcycle crash in Richmond.
Police say the Harley-Davidson operated by 44-year-old Todd Stanton went off Swamp Road and struck some trees at about 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Stanton suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not immediately say why the motorcycle left the road and the accident remains under investigation.
The crash resulted in some minor traffic delays.
