
Boston police looking for man responsible for string of similar robberies
BOSTON -- Boston police officers are searching for a man suspected in a string of robberies.
Investigators said the man may be connected to as many as six robberies in and around the city since last Tuesday.
The suspect is described as a black man with a full beard. He stands 5'5"-5'8" with a medium build and is between 25 and 30 years old.
He's suspected in robberies of stores and gas stations in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Jamaica Plain, and Charlestown.
Officers said he is armed and usually attempts to buy an item in order for the store clerk to open the register.
