GREENFIELD, Mass -- A fire tore through a building in Greenfield early this morning.

The building was home to over 20 people and several businesses.

The flames broke out around 8:30 Sunday morning on Chapman Street. Witnesses say it may have been sparked by a woman who fell asleep with a cigarette.

Everyone who lived in the building got out safely, but many lost everything.

One firefighter was injured but is expected to be okay.
