
Conn. woman dies in Mass. crash
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Police say a 75-year-old driver from Hamden, Conn., lost control of his vehicle and rolled over in Massachusetts, killing his 69-year-old female passenger.
State police say the woman, also from Hamden, Conn., was seriously injured in the 3:30 p.m. crash on Monday and was pronounced dead at the scene in Foxborough, about 30 miles southwest of Boston.
The driver was seriously injured in the crash that occurred on Route 495 North. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. Police did not provide additional details on his condition.
Police withheld the identity of the driver and the passenger.
Investigators are still probing the facts and circumstances surrounding the crash.
