'Twilight' star Kellan Lutz visits Natick Collection
NATICK, Mass. -- Fans of the Twilight saga lined up at Natick Collection on Thursday to meet Kellan Lutz, the actor who plays Emmett in the upcoming film "New Moon."
Lutz sat in the Hot Topic store at the mall taking pictures and signing autographs for fans.
Hundreds of fans waited for hours for a chance to meet the "New Moon" star. Fans started lining up at 11 a.m. for a chance to meet Lutz.
"I stayed up 'til 12 last night making a shirt," said an excited fan.
Lutz is very grateful for all of the fan support.
"They're so loving and supportive, it's such a blessing to have fans that are just so passionate about something that you're acting in and it's always nice to be an actor that has a fanbase that allows you to keep working...it's fun, I can't complain," said Lutz of his fans.
Lutz also made mention of how excited he was to be in Boston and how much he loves the Patriots.
"I love Boston. Go Patriots. I acutally tried to come out for the game against Miami, but I was doing so much New Moon press I couldn't make it. I had tickets, airline tickets," Lutz said.
"New Moon" is the second installment in the Twilight series. The movie is set to be released in theaters November 20.
