BOSTON (WHDH) -- Prepare to see more people feeling sick around you or you may feel sick yourself - that's because the flu outbreak is here.

State health officials said the number of flu cases drastically increased over the past few weeks.

There are 3,736 flu cases now - compared to just 126 last year.

That’s ten times more patients than this time last year.

So far - Central Massachusetts has been hit the hardest.
