Just about perfect. A mix of sun & clouds, low humidity, gentle afternoon breeze. Highs near 80--even at the beaches! A slight chance of a t-storm in N.H. from 11am to 2pm. West wind 7-12 mph.
Dry and mild for the fireworks. with mostly clear skies. Evening temps in the 70s. Overnight lows in the 50s---near 62 Boston. Light west wind.
Perfect! Sunny & seasonal with highs near 80 (beaches too). West wind 7-12 mph.
Partly sunny. A passing storm in the afternoon. Upper 70s.
Sun & clouds. Brief sprinkle during the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s.
More clouds than sun. Highs in the low 70s.
Can you dig it? I know I can. I HAVE been waiting for a long time for a weekend forecast like this. Sunshine both days, seasonal temps and no thick humidity around.
Today looks fine for the parades from Hingham to Sudbury as well as BBQ's planned in Ipswich and Groton or just walking the freedom trail here in town. As we roll into the evening hours for fireworks displays plan on dry & mild conditions with mostly clear skies. Heads up--the ground you plan to sit on will probably still be wet & muddy from all the recent rains.
Sunday features more of the same....sunshine with temps near 80. Mmmm, nice real nice.
Looking at the tea leaves this morning it looks like our cool & wet pattern will be relaxing a bit over the next 7 days as drier & warmer (as in seasonal) temps linger.
Enjoy you Independence day!

From spaceweather.com:
On June 12, 2009, Russia's Sarychev Peak volcano erupted, hurling an enormous plume of ash and sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere. This has produced some unusually beautiful sunrises and sunsets around the northern hemisphere. When the sun goes down, delicate ripples of white appear over the western horizon. Then, as twilight deepens, the sky turns a lovely shade of "volcanic lavender." Fine volcanic aerosols in the stratosphere scatter blue light which, when mixed with ordinary sunset red, produce the lavender hue. Other signs to look for include a bright yellow "twilight arch" and long crepuscular rays and shadows.
Follow the plume of ash in this animation. Look for the orange highlights!
