Average high this time of year in Boston in 37 degrees, and we'll be very close to that over the next couple of days. Mostly sunny skies prevail today and clear skies continue into the first half of tonight. The second half of tonight features increasing clouds that could produce a flurry or two by daybreak tomorrow.
I don't expect much snow, but flurries and scattered snow showers could dust the ground in some (not all towns) towns tomorrow morning. Whatever light coating is there in the morning, melts in the afternoon with highs running several degrees above freezing. Sunday afternoon is dry, but another round of flurries or snows showers come through late-day or at night, with the next cold front pushing in.
Behind that front, colder air pushes into southern New England, setting up a chilly Monday and cold Monday night. That'll be all for the cold for a while as temps warm starting Tuesday afternoon, and don't look back until the middle part of the month.
Heading to Ski Country? Looks good up north. It's starting off near 30 for many in northern New England this morning, although i expect temps to fall back into the 20s with an increase with this afternoon. It'll be in the single digits and teens tonight, and warm to the upper 20s on Sunday with clouds and scattered snow showers. Have fun!

Well, it certainly was a great weekend weather-wise until this afternoon when the temps dropped and light showers moved in from west to east. Despite the cool down, the theme for this upcoming week is warmer with higher humidity. It'll also be unsettled at times.

Our fun in the sun ends this afternoon as morning sunshine fades behind thickening clouds. As those clouds increase, a few showers break out this afternoon from west to east, with the highest chance for rain late afternoon and this evening. Most of the showers are light, especially the early afternoon ones, but a heavier shower or two is possible near day's end and early this evening. Highs reach the mid to upper 60s around noon, then fall back to near 60 mid to late afternoon thanks to scattered showers. These showers are brought to us by a warm front.

Quite a few clouds in the sky at times this afternoon, but the atmosphere lacked ample moisture to produce showers, so we made out just fine with temps near 70. Even the coast made it well into the 60s before the onshore wind knocked temps back.

Sure, it's a cool start with many of the suburbs down into the upper 30s and lower 40s, but we'll warm up quickly through the day as that sun helps us out.
