A few flakes are falling this morning, mainly north and west of Boston, and in some cases, even dropping a dusting of snow. The snow won't amount to much, and if the steps in front of the house get covered, a broom out to take care of it. If you're not into sweeping this morning, just wait until midday. Warm enough temps melt the snow away.
Most of us south of Route 2 and inside 495, won't even pick up a dusting. However, a few flakes are still possible. As temperatures warm to near 40, a passing snow showers turns to a passing light rain shower this afternoon. About 40% of us get hit, but even if you're in the 40%, most of the day is dry.
A passing rain or snow shower still possible Monday before dry weather prevails Tuesday. At that point, we turn our eyes to the south for Wed and Thur. A mid-Atlantic storm cranks up Wednesday and Thursday, but it remains to be seen how much of an impact we'll see. I'd bet on lots of clouds, an occasional rain or snow shower, and a strong east to northeast wind both days. Right now, the brunt of the storm looks to slide just south of us, but it's still worth tracking at this point. At least we'll see an impact of high winds and rough seas along the coast, especially across the Cape/Islands.

What a day! Breakneck temperature swings, thunder, tornadoes in Western Mass....and we're still in late May!

With the snap of the fingers we were thrown into summer this afternoon. Heat, humidity, A/C and shorts - with a hazy sun to boot. But with the sea breeze knocking back the temperatures (and bringing in a round of downpours this evening), there are changes afoot.

Well, it certainly was a great weekend weather-wise until this afternoon when the temps dropped and light showers moved in from west to east. Despite the cool down, the theme for this upcoming week is warmer with higher humidity. It'll also be unsettled at times.

Our fun in the sun ends this afternoon as morning sunshine fades behind thickening clouds. As those clouds increase, a few showers break out this afternoon from west to east, with the highest chance for rain late afternoon and this evening. Most of the showers are light, especially the early afternoon ones, but a heavier shower or two is possible near day's end and early this evening. Highs reach the mid to upper 60s around noon, then fall back to near 60 mid to late afternoon thanks to scattered showers. These showers are brought to us by a warm front.
